Training

Major security services conduct orientation training to all Guards before deployment in the security posts. The training curriculum includes outdoor program consisting of Physical training squad drill, self-defense and theoretical severity related subjects. Training on apart, refresher training is given form time to time to the existing security guards in order to update the security knowledge. In addition, we provides security training program as required by individual client such as : Security Officer Training Course, Body guards VIP and Risk Awareness Training, anti-kidnapping, treat awareness and Bombs & Explosive Drill Course, sense of safety with knowledge and skill of handling various type of safety & security equipment.

We also wish to inform you that all our security officers go through intensive training before taking up an assignment. The type of basic training they go through are set out below:

  • Role of security officering and introduction to policies and security procedures.
  • Basic security officer duties with emphasis on specific customer’s premises.
  • Gate house and reception duties procedure for control of visitors, materials, key control and gate passes.
  • General orders and post orders.
  • Fire prevention and control, chemical of fire cause, types of fire, types of fire extinguishers, their use and action to be taken during fire.
  • Search and detection procedures for the personnel and vehicles, type/method of search, use of detection equipment.
  • Legal obligations and responsibilities, arrest able offences, right of defense
  • Customer care and various operating procedures related to security, emergency procedures etc.
  • Unarmed self-defense, techniques of unarmed combat.
  • Use of access control and personal equipment.
  • Report writing preparation of incident reports and daily logs.
  • Professional behaviors and quality awareness in public relations, actions during adverse situations
  • Patrolling and observation techniques, methods and types of patrols.
  • Role-play exercises
  • Health, safety and first aid.
